ABOUT THIS WEBSITE
I am A.R.Yngve. I love to tell stories. So I write. I'm not making a living out of writing - yet. But I can spin a yarn. And all I want is an audience to tell my stories to.
This website started years ago, when I had become tired of trying to find a publisher the old way. I desperately wanted to know: were my stories even worth telling? I had to test them on real readers.
So I began to post chapters of my then unsold novels - PARRY'S PROTOCOL and ALIEN BEACH to begin with - as web-serials. After a while, I found out that my stories were worth telling, they did reach readers who enjoyed them, and I got better at writing.
I even found a publisher - or rather, she found me. But I still wanted to tell stories in the most direct manner possible: straight to the reader. So I didn't close down this website.
Since 1999 (but wandering from URL to URL), this site posts Web-adapted editions and serials of my finished novels. Also available are short stories, extensive preview samples of unpublished and published novels.
(Yes, I have published print novels, stories and comics. I've been published in Chinese magazines. I'm determined, baby. You don't believe me? Go check out my bibliography.)
The text on this site can be read for free online(only in English). Only my own writings will appear here. I cannot prevent piracy and/or plagiarism, but I don't approve of it - and it's plain wrong. Respect the individual writer's effort.
What I can do is to respond to you, the readers. Tell me what you think of the stories here. There's not one story here that wasn't meant to entertain, but that won't mean they do not contain ideas. If you find some of the ideas expressed here offensive (or think they're all MY opinions), please don't get into a frothing fury. Relax... it's fiction, man!
